Raffi Ahmad Hopes Danantara Will Boost National Economic Growth

Jakarta - Raffi Ahmad, a prominent artist and Special Presidential Envoy for Youth Development and Arts Workers, expressed his optimism regarding the newly launched Investment Management Agency (BPI) named Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara). He believes that this initiative, inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace, will significantly enhance the national economy.

On Monday, February 24, 2025, Raffi articulated that it is time for Indonesia to take bold steps toward strengthening the nation's investment capacity through Danantara. He emphasized that this move aims to foster economic growth independently, reducing reliance on foreign investments.

Raffi acknowledged the launch of Danantara as a proactive government effort to establish Indonesia as a country with enduring economic resilience in the future. In his message, he stated, "It is not just about being bold, but also about having a well-organized, transparent, and accountable management system. With the support of all Indonesian citizens as key stakeholders, Danantara can lead Indonesia toward a robust national resilience."

Moreover, Raffi urged the public to actively support and monitor this new government initiative. He concluded by saying, "Let's work together to oversee and back the performance of Danantara to ensure it benefits the economy and the well-being of the Indonesian people."
