Published November 4, 2024

Apple has released its fiscal Q4 2024 financial results, showcasing a remarkable quarterly revenue of $94.9 billion. This figure marks a 6% increase compared to the same period last year. The surge in revenue is largely attributed to strong sales of the all-new iPhone 16, along with the Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods 4.

During this quarter, Apple reported $46.2 billion in revenue generated from iPhone sales, and $7.4 billion from its Mac segment. Additionally, the iPad segment contributed $7 billion. All these categories saw an increase in sales year-over-year. Revenue from wearable devices, home products, and accessories totaled $9 billion, while services revenue reached an all-time high of $25 billion, reflecting a 12% growth year-over-year.

CEO Tim Cook's Statement

Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, stated: "Today Apple is reporting a new September quarter revenue record of $94.9 billion, up 6 percent from a year ago. During the quarter, we were excited to announce our best products yet, with the all-new iPhone 16 lineup, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and remarkable features for hearing health and sleep apnea detection. And this week, we released our first set of features for Apple Intelligence, which sets a new standard for privacy in AI and supercharges our lineup heading into the holiday season".

CFO Luca Maestri's Insights

Apple's Chief Financial Officer, Luca Maestri, commented: "Our record business performance during the September quarter drove nearly $27 billion in operating cash flow, allowing us to return over $29 billion to our shareholders. We are very pleased that our active installed base of devices reached a new all-time high across all products and all geographic segments, thanks to our high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty".

With these impressive results, Apple looks forward to a strong holiday season as demand for its premium devices remains high.
