Published February 1, 2025

Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, recently praised the Union Budget, describing it as extraordinary and particularly advantageous for the poor, middle class, farmers, small traders, and young entrepreneurs.

One of the key highlights of the budget was the announcement of tax exemptions for employees earning up to ₹12 lakh, a move that Bandi Sanjay termed as revolutionary. This initiative is anticipated to result in savings of up to ₹80,000 annually for employees.

He declared, “The budget is the most pro-middle class in the past 75 years. No government has ever offered such favorable conditions to the middle class.” Such statements emphasize the transformative nature of the budget for everyday citizens.

Furthermore, the budget outlines substantial support for farmers, especially in Telangana, where more than 50 lakh farmers will be eligible for loans up to ₹5 lakh. Bandi Sanjay encouraged all farmers to apply for Kisan Credit Cards to seize this beneficial opportunity.

The minister also underscored the government's ambitious vision of making India the third-largest economy globally by 2027, following the United States and China. This goal reflects the broader economic strategies laid out in the budget.

Expressing gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment to welfare initiatives, Bandi Sanjay described the budget as a ‘welfare budget for the people’. He acknowledged the efforts of both the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister in crafting this budget.

Finally, Bandi Sanjay called on opposition parties to refrain from unjust criticism of the budget. He urged the Telangana state government to work in cooperation with the Centre to ensure the successful implementation of the budgetary measures.
